WHY WE’RE BUILDING SKALET

A practical starting point.

Skalet starts with a straightforward idea: contractors should be able to open a PDF plan, set its scale, measure what they need, and share the result from an iPad or iPhone.

We’re building around that workflow first. Named scales, saved dimensions, and PDF exports form the foundation. Editable area outlines are now in the development build. Concrete quantities and trade-specific takeoffs remain the next direction, with contractor feedback helping shape what comes after.

The goal: make the plan you already have more useful.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

From square footage
toward quantities.

The first area prototype is implemented and awaiting physical-device acceptance. Next come openings and grouped totals, followed by slab thickness and concrete yards. Counts and electrical workflows are later milestones.
