Who handles your information

The Skalet beta program uses the details you submit to manage beta interest, provide testing updates, and respond to questions. You can reach the site operator using our contact and privacy request form.

What we collect and why

For beta interest, we collect your name, email, role, iPad/iPhone app preference, optional intended use, consent version, and signup time. We use this to maintain the release list and select relevant testers. It is not a general marketing subscription, a purchase, or a guarantee of access.

For contact requests, we collect your name, email, topic, message, and submission time to respond to your request. Please do not send customer plans or sensitive project details.

Storage and service providers

Cloudflare hosts this website and stores form records in a private D1 database. Notifications go to the site operator through an email provider. Applicant details are reviewed through protected owner access and are not published. Cloudflare processes network information needed to deliver and protect the site.

Abuse prevention and cookies

The form uses a hidden bot field, request checks, and rate limiting. We retain a keyed, temporary representation of an IP address for rate limiting, rather than storing raw IP addresses in the application database. Those temporary records expire after about two hours. The website adds no analytics or advertising trackers.

How long records are kept

Beta and contact records are removed from the active database after 12 months, unless you request earlier removal. Limited backup copies may remain for the service provider’s backup-retention period. If the signup process changes substantially, we will update this notice before collecting additional information.

Withdraw interest or request deletion

Use the contact form and choose “Privacy / delete my details.” Use the email address associated with your signup so the operator can verify the request before changing or deleting records. You may also ask to correct your details or stop beta-related contact. We will use the contact details only to handle the request.

The app is separate

This notice covers the website and release list. It does not replace the privacy information or terms supplied with a beta or released version of the Skalet app.
