TOOLS & WORKFLOW

Your PDF. Its scale.
A useful measurement.

Explore Skalet’s measuring workflow and try illustrative demos. The app is still in development; public access and final pricing have not been announced.

A FAMILIAR JOB. A SIMPLER WORKFLOW.

Less juggling.
More drawing.

Keep the plan, its scales, and your measurements together. Skalet brings the work of an architectural scale ruler and rolling plan measure into a focused PDF workspace.

Bring your plans.

Import a PDF and keep it in your local plan library. Rename projects and return to saved sheets and measurements.

YOUR PROJECTS, TOGETHER

Make the scale yours.

Choose a preset or calibrate against a known dimension. Save named scales for different details on the same sheet.

ONE SHEET. MULTIPLE SCALES.

Measure. Mark. Share.

Place two endpoints, adjust as needed, then export the current sheet or whole plan with saved dimensions.

Two points.
A useful answer.

On a scaled plan, the distance between two points becomes a dimension. Move the endpoint in this example to see the idea in action.

  • Adjust draft and saved corners.
  • Save areas with their original scale.
  • Undo, redo, or delete saved areas.
  • Include saved outlines in PDF exports.

TOOLS THAT KEEP YOU MOVING

Built around the plan.

Useful controls for the details you need to check, with Length and Area controls in the current development workspace.

Place points with care

Zoom in, use the magnifier, and adjust endpoints. Optional edge and angle snapping help with point placement.

Keep scales in context

Use per-sheet scales and named detail scales. Each saved measurement keeps the scale used to create it.

Your plan library

Keep imported PDFs, project names, and saved measurements on your device. Reopen a project when you need it.

Room to revise

Adjust and delete measurements, with Undo and Redo for changes during your current session.

Share the dimensions

Export a sheet or the whole plan as a PDF with printable teal measurements. Your source PDF stays intact.

At your desk or on site

Layouts for iPad and iPhone. Measure with touch, with an optional Apple Pencil only setting on iPad.

A clear starting scope.

Length measurement, scales, local plans, and PDF export are the core workflow. Editable simple area outlines are implemented in the development build and still need device acceptance. Cutouts, grouped totals, concrete quantities, counts, automation, and cloud sync are not available.
