ARCHITECTS & DRAFTERS

Review the PDF.
Keep the detail in context.

When drawings move from authoring software into a PDF, review still needs a reliable scale reference. Skalet focuses on measuring that PDF and communicating the result.

Work with multiple detail scales

Use named per-sheet scales for separate views. Saved lengths and areas keep the scale used when they were created; switching the active scale does not rewrite earlier results.

Check a resized export

When the printed scale no longer matches a resized PDF, calibrate using a known dimension and check another span. A single calibration cannot correct uneven scan distortion.

Share a measured reference

Export saved dimensions and, in the area prototype, closed outlines as PDF annotations. Skalet exports a copy and leaves the original imported source unchanged.

What to keep in mind

Skalet measures PDFs; it does not author CAD geometry, edit BIM models, verify code compliance, or replace approved drawing dimensions. Use it within your existing review process.
