HOMEOWNERS

Get to know the plans
for your next home.

You don’t have to work in construction to want a clearer picture of a home plan. Skalet is being built to help you explore scaled PDFs and bring more specific questions to the people designing or building your home.

Explore a room’s dimensions

Check a span between two points on a scaled floor plan. Confirm whether you are measuring inside wall faces, outside faces, or another reference before interpreting the number.

Understand the scale first

A drawing can include several views with different scales. Start with a known dimension and verify that your selected scale matches the exact room or detail.

Bring context to your builder

Save a measured reference and share the marked-up sheet when asking about a layout. The area prototype can also explore simple room outlines; cutouts are not yet supported.

What to keep in mind

Use these dimensions to support a conversation. Confirm clearances, finished dimensions, fit, and field conditions with your builder or designer before ordering materials or furniture.

BUILT WITH YOUR FEEDBACK
